INFORMATION ABOUT TUXEDOS
John's Bridal has been fitting men in tuxedos for over 20 years. Formally known as Florida Formal Wear of Port Orange, John changed his store name since he also sells dresses and the North store does not. Both stores have different hours. You may see some different attire in each location, but whatever you see at either location can be rented at both locations. My web site at www.johnsbridal.com shows most of our tuxedo inventory, but not all of it. Since we deal with all the major designers, we can get you just about anything you see anywhere.
Our tuxedo selection includes Solid color and Pin stripe tuxedos, and in many colors including: Brown, White, Ivory, Black, Latte, Champagne, Silver, Platinum, and Gray; and even the not so popular Navy, Maize, Periwinkle, Burgundy, Light Blue, Lavender, Mint green, or Pink tuxedo. (No pink pants available).
The "Book of Etiquette" suggests the men's shirt should be the same color as the bride's dress, but that is not always the case. This is why we offer many styles of shirts in a variety of colors. Each style shirt is available in different colors. We carry micro fiber and dress shirts. We carry mandarin, wing tip, & lay down pleated collar shirts. There may be an extra charge to rent some styles or colors. Choice of button cover is included with mandarin shirt rental.
The trend this year has been Vests and long ties over cummerbunds and bow ties. Cummerbunds are available mostly in solid colors, while vests are available in a large variety of patterns and colors, along with many solid colors. Cravats, Bolo ties, Cross-over ties and other style ties are available to rent or purchase. You can see many of them in the on-line tuxedo catalogs, but not all of them.
Shoes - we offer a great variety of men's shoes. Both stores carry the basic tux shoe and the square toed in black, white, and ivory. The South store carries the black pin stripe (Jaguar) and 3 styles of brown shoes. The North store carries the Volt. All can be rented at either location.
Studs and cuff links are included at no additional fee. Choice of gold or silver trim in a black or pearl setting. We have many other styles and colors available to purchase, such as for Groom's or Groomsmen's gifts.
Other accessories, such as hats, hat bands, scarves, canes, and gloves can be purchased separately. There are 100's of hat styles and colors available, including Cowboy hats and Top hats.
